Holi 2020
Holi Known as the “festival of colours”. It is one of the
major festival in India. It is observed after the end of the winter season and
beginning of the spring season i.e. in the month of March of every year. Holi
celebration is of two days:
Holika Dahan:
The day before holi people starts collecting wood material
for the bonfire. The bonfire will be conducted at the temples or near the open
spaces. Holika Dahan is observed due to the lord Vishnu saving the life of
prahlad (devotee of Lord Vishnu).

Holi (Rangwali holi):
Holi represents the conquest of good over evil. Holi is the festival of
colours nad sharing love, forget and forgive. The first day is called holika
dahan and the following day is known as holi.

Celebration of Holi (Rangwali Holi):
1.
On Holika dahan day People gather Infront of the
bonfire (Holika dahan) to perform rituals for their internal evil.
2. People splashes colours on each other with full
of enthusiasm.
3. Music are played and people enjoys in the
music beats.

Holi Snacks:
everal sweets are being prepared on holi especially thandai,
Gujiya, Malpuas are the main thar prepared during holi festival. Several snacks
are being served in the food stalls.

After the completion of playing holi people clean themselves
and visit the relatives to take the blessing from the elders by touching their
feets.
