the public holiday in different north Indian states. As it is this day states
the birthday of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, who is been seen as a well-known
figure in India’s struggle for freedom.
History of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose:
Subhas Chandra Bose was born to Prabhavati Dutt Bose (Mother
of Subhas Chandra Bose) and Janakinath Bose (Father of Subhas Chandra Bose) on
23rd January 1897 in Cuttack Orissa Division.
After completion of his B.A. in 1918, he went to Europe in
1919 as he promised his father that he will appear for ICS (Indian Civil
Services). As Subhas Chandra Bose appeared for the ICS exam, he scores 4th
in the ICS examination. But he did not want to work for the government which
serves British. Later in 1923 Bose was elected as the president of all India
Youth Congress. And even in 1925 in a roundup of nationalist’s Bose has been
arrested and sent to the prison. In 1930 he became the mayor of Calcutta.
When Subhas Chandra Bose was travelling in Europe he has written a first
part of his book which shows the country’s independence movement (1920-1934)

Later in
1938:
Subhas Chandra Bose had become the Congress president in
1938, and later in 1939 he left the Congress president-ship position due to his
difference with Mahatma Gandhi and Congress high command.
Death of Subhas Chandra Bose
The death of Indian National leader, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was
occurred due to the plane crash on 18th August 1945 in Japanese
Taiwan.
